£1,000 of character.
A banger budget of £1,000, or a car that embraces the spirit of the event. It’s about the adventure, not an expensive motor.

THE ESSENTIALS
We keep it simple: look after each other, look after your car and don’t take yourself too seriously.
A banger budget of £1,000, or a car that embraces the spirit of the event. It’s about the adventure, not an expensive motor.
Unlimited spend on modifications and fancy dress. Keep your car safe, legal and your decorations securely attached.
No timed stages, no racing and no bumping. Obey local road rules, be considerate and enjoy the journey.
Teams of 2 to 5 people. Every participant must be 16 or over. Drivers must meet all licence and insurance requirements.
A morning breathalyser check comes before each day’s route pack is issued. Never drink and drive.
A valid licence, insurance covering your route and a road-legal car are essential. Check documents and country requirements before leaving.
